Ingredients of Sweet Potato Wedges with Yogurt Sauce

6 and 3/4 large sweet potato
1 and 2/3 tablspoon red chilli powder
3 and 1/3 tablespoon cumin powder
3 and 1/3 teaspoon lime zest
3 and 1/3 tablespoon lime juice
3 and 1/3 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
salt as required
3 and 1/3 cup yoghurt (curd)
1 and 2/3 cup cucumber


How to make Sweet Potato Wedges with Yogurt Sauce

Step 1
To prepare this easy recipe, you need 2 large Japanese sweet potatoes, which are basically purple in colour. First of all, wash the potatoes properly and peel them off. Therefore, cut lengthwise about 1/8-inch thick or less than that as per your choice. (Note: If you don't have Japanese sweet potatoes, you can choose to have normal sweet potatoes.)

Step 2
Thereafter, prepare the marinade for sweet potatoes. For the same, take a small bowl and mix together extra virgin olive oil, red chili powder, salt to taste, cumin powder, lime zest. Keep this marinade aside for about 10 minutes.

Step 3
Meanwhile, grab a medium size mixing bowl and add plain yoghurt in it. Peel the cucumber and dice it nicely. Add these diced cucumber pieces in the curd bowl along with salt and lemon juice. Using a spoon, mix them all well and put aside. Now, set up your air fryer. Then, transfer all the marinated sweet potatoes into the baking pot and set the timing at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.

Step 4
Then, after 15 minutes open the baking pot and flip them and similarly set the timing at 200 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes. Now, need to wait for the ready signal. Next, After 5 minutes, your sweet potato wedges are ready. Wait for another 2-3 minutes to cool down the baking pot. Thereafter, carefully take out all the crispy sweet potatoes into the dish and serve with super tasty yogurt sauce.
