Som Tam Recipe |
Ingredients of Som Tam
2 and 1/2 medium green papaya
5 tomato
17 and 1/2 birds eye chillies
12 and 1/2 cloves garlic
1 and 1/4 cup green beans
For Dressing
1 and 1/4 tablespoon soy sauce
1/3 cup and 2 and 1/4 tablespoon palm sugar
1 and 1/4 cup lime juice
For Garnishing
1/4 cup and 3 teaspoon crushed peanuts
How to make Som Tam
Step 1
To prepare this easy salad, wash the papaya and peel it. Then, shred it and set aside.
Step 2
Add the garlic cloves and green chillies to a pestle and mortar and roughly pound them.
Step 3
Then, add the chopped beans and pound till they are completely crushed. Add the tomatoes and pound them as well.
Step 4
To prepare the dressing, take a bowl to combine the dark soya sauce, lime juice and sugar.
Step 5
Transfer the diced papaya into a salad bowl and add the crushed ingredients to it along with the peanuts.
Step 6
Now, pour the dressing over the salad and toss well. Serve chilled.
