Baba Ganoush Recipe
Ingredients of Baba Ganoush

1 medium halved eggplant/ brinjal
1 tablespoon sesame paste
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
1 pinch salt
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 clove minced garlic
2 tablespoon virgin olive oil
2 dashes powdered white peppercorns

For Garnishing

1 teaspoon sesame seeds

How to make Baba Ganoush

Step 1
For making this simple recipe, first of all heat little olive oil in a nonstick pan over low flame.

Step 2
After 15 seconds, place the washed brinjal/eggplant on the pan, flesh side down, and cook for a minute or two.

Step 3
Now, prick it with a fork a few times and char/roast over an open flame until uniformly charred.

Step 4
Allow it cool. Then, scoop out the pulp and puree it in a blender.

Step 5
Add the lemon juice, sesame paste, garlic and blend until smooth.

Step 6
Pour it in a bowl. Sprinkle salt and pepper.

Step 7
Drizzle some olive oil and garnish it with raw sesame seeds. Serve with toasted pita breads.
